Auditions for Mpact's competition team are just around the corner! We'd love for you to be a part of our dance family. Mpact takes pride in knowing that our dancers truly go to competitions to make memories and grow as athletes. The dance competition industry offers opportunities for dancers of al ages and skill levels. Whether you are beginner or advanced, tot or senior, all kiddos are welcome on the competition stage!

Classes
Ages: 3-4
The purpose of pre-dance classes is to place a love for dance in each little one. Students will learn the basic dance techniques through a fun, positive environment. These classes are the foundation for beginner and intermediate dance classes, as they teach proper alignment and movement of the body.

Preschool Ballet/Tap
Preschool Jazz/Tumble
Ages: Jazz and Tumble I 5-10 Jazz and Tumble II 11-18
Jazz and Tumble is a combination class that teaches both jazz technique and tumbling. Students will learn how to be creative and confident with their movements. Jazzy Tumble classes will prepare dancers for all intermediate-level classes.
Ages: 5-9
Int/Adv Teen Pom is a challenging, yet creative class meant for dancers ages 12-18. Pom classes are a great way to work on picking up choreography quickly. The innovative and unique movements teach students to be focused and driven during not only dance classes but daily life activities.
Ages: Beginner 5-9, Intermediate 10-13, Advanced 14-18
Technique classes are split into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Dancers will focus on alignment, control, and movement of the body. They will also be taught the various muscles in the human body, and how to properly use each one while dancing. Classes consist of barre work, combinations/drills in the center of the floor, as well as across the floor.
Ages: Ballet I: 5-6 Ballet II: 7-9 Ballet III: 10-13 Ballet IV 14-18
Ballet is the foundation of every style of dance. It is the perfect class for students wanting to improve their technique and movement quality as a dancer. In these classes, students will train in classical ballet while gaining confidence, strength, classroom etiquette, and discipline.
Level 1: Age 5-6 Level 2: Age 7-9 Level 3: Age 10-13 Level 4: Age 14-18
Each tap class will teach the fundamentals of tap technique needed or that level class. Students will learn skills both in place and moving across the floor all while strengthening ankle stability and balance.
Ages: Evaluation Needed (3-18)
Students are placed in tumbling classes by an evaluation! Each class will be geared towards building the strength and flexibility needed to improve tumbling skills.

Ages: Evaluation Needed (14-18)
Pre-Pointe is an entry level pointe class. This class is not open for individual enrollment online. Students interested must be evaluated by Miss Katie and Miss Macey prior to enrolling in the class. The first month of class will be geared towards building ankle strength and stability, before traveling to STL with Miss Macey and Miss Katie to be properly fitted for pointe shoes.
Ages: Hip Hop I 5-10 Hip Hop II 11-18
Know someone with lots of sass and energy? This may just be the perfect class for them! This class will harness each student's spunky personality while teaching the tricks, skills, and movement qualities to be a hip-hop dancer.
Ages: 3-4
Do you know a preschooler that loves to flip around your living room? If so, this is the perfect class for them! Tumble Tots is a fun, upbeat class that teaches the fundamentals of basic tumbling skills while focusing on balance and stability.
